Can't See Some Posts

Got a weird problem where I can't see all posts. It seems like it may be tied to the poster, for example, I can't seem to see any Master Yoda posts. There are many posters I can see and many that I can't. And it only seems to be on this one PC -- when I log in on other PCs everything's fine. :veryconfu

Any ideas???

Ah interesting. I can't see PMs from Master Yoda either.

I am able to see the posts on reply screens, like this one I'm typing in, except the Quote box in Master Yodas reply is empty.

Yes, the only login I have is spoodles.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping this was a known thing with a quick fix.

Do you by chance have me on ignore?

I wonder if I should abuse this power of anonymity to say nasty things about spoodles?

I sure don't think so, and I think the my ignore list would be the same whatever PC I'm logged in on. That's what's really weird, the problem's only on one PC. Still, how do I see my ignore list?

It is under "user CP" about halfway down the list on the left.

That is weird. I could see it if I was using a different color or font. Have you tried all the typical browser maintenance? (clearing cookies, temp files, history, etc)

Wow, I just rebooted and everything's fine. Sorry to have bothered you guys, that should've been the first thing I tried.

Spoodles, did you forget to make your monthly offering to the computer gods? I know mine starts acting up if I don't let it chew up a file now and then. :lookaroun:lol:

Funny story related to that told to me by my IT guy at work. On one of the accounts that he serviced a very sweet 60+ year old secretary computer had turned on for a second then shut off and would not turn back on. He went in to find out what the problem was expecting the typical bad power supply. When he went to pick the computer up he was quite surprised at how incredible heavy it was....on the order of 50-60 lbs. He opens up the side panel and is engulfed in a sea of quarters. Apparently as a joke someone in the office had jokingly told this woman that this was an old computer and when it acted up she need to drop a quarter into one of the vent slits at the top. Eventually the pile of quarters became high enough to ground out the motherboard and fry the computer.

OMG! :ROFLOL:

My son is going to be doing community service this summer by helping out at one of the "homes" in the area, and one of his duties will be to clean the computers, assist people with emails, surfing the net, etc. I hope he doesn't read this, and decide to trick some little old lady. :lookaroun
