Went to Candlelight Processional in 2006 when it was just hubby and I. We now have 3 kids (2, 3 and 11) and headed down dec. 22-30. Worth going with them or too young to appreciate?

What’s worth it to some may not be worth it to others. Follow your instinct and do what feels best for your family.

While I think the 11 year old would appreciate it, I'd be more worried that the 2 and 3 year olds would get bored and become disruptive. We skipped it when our kids were around those ages.

I’ve taken my son at 2 and 4. The Processional was worth it both times. My son was fine. He didn’t dislike it, but I wouldn’t say he appreciated it. He may have actually taken a nap one of those times, even with the loud herald trumpets.

Depends on your kids, if you think they would handle sitting through it. How have they handled other shows youve attended at home? Kids differ in what they will tolerate and what catches their attention and keeps them enthralled. My DS was great when he was young any time we attended a show with music and song. If you do attend and find the younger ones arent holding up, you could either stay with the older child and have hubby leave with the younger ones, or all leave together without disrupting everyone.

I love all things Christmas, well most things Christmas, and Christmas time at the WDW is by far my favorite time to be there. We haven't missed a Christmas season there since 2013. But the Candlelight Procession is not one of my favorites. If we do it every few years, that is good for me. Every time we have gone I have noticed younger children fidgeting or sleeping. So this would greatly depend on the personalities of your children.

Honestly, it's boring....especially for kids.

You burn a lot of time waiting in line and I think it lasts an hour. It's generic Christmas snoozefest with some readings, same old Xmas songs, and nothing "Disney" about it. You can get this experience in any town. For me, I'd rather spend my time in World Showcase or riding attractions I can't do other places.

To each their own. I happen to like it.

I'm going to WDW in 79 days and the narrator for December 10 -12 is still "TBD". Any word on the final narrators? Regardless, I would rather see TBD than Whoppi Goldberg.
The list has been updated. For December 10-12 the narrarator is Bart Millard. Had to look him up, he seems to front a Christian music group.

Yep. Already looked him up. He's lead singer to Christian group MercyMe. Even if generic Christian music isn't your thing, their Christmas albums are pretty good.
