I think the others have adequately answered your question. I just want to chime in...don't miss the show it is fantastic. You might want to think of getting a dinning package for it, where your seats for the show are included. Then you don't have to take a chance on the standby line.

Very worth it. Listening to the music outside on a mildly cold evening is a great way to spend a night at Epcot....and there's always a celebrity bonus.

Last year the dinner packages were available at the following restaurants:

Coral Reef
Garden Grill Restaurant
La Hacienda de San Angel
Nine Dragons Restaurant
Restaurant Marrakesh

So, is it similar to getting special seating for Fantasmic? Just curious to what the perks are besides good food at those restaurants.

Yes. The seating is up front and center. But that is the only perk. You get a nice dinner and then the close seats at the show. Although you still need to get there early. Once all the dinner package guests are let in, they let in the general attendance. If you show up after this, you get general seating even if you bought a dinner package.

It used to be up front and center. Now that they are reserving 1/2 - 3/4 of the seating for the package you can land up back from the stage. I've seen the line for the shows for the dinner package start to line up and hour or 2 in advanced. It is fun watching people complain "That is the line for the dinner package" since it is extending over to Japan.

That's what we did. Loved the show, hated the meal.
