Candle Light Processional Dinners

When do they start allowing the bookings for the dinner packages? I just called to make all of ADR for our Dec trip and they haven't started booking those yet.

But, on a better note, got all of the dinner reservations and times we wanted... Chef Mickeys, 'Ohanas and Tony's. Whoo Hoo... Just need one more for EPCOT and I'll be happy as a clam...

Hi,

We traveled to Disney in Dec. '06 and attended the Candlelight Processional. Ticket sales started in Aug. '06. Watch this site and also allearsnet.com for when they will go on sale this year because the desirable restaurants and times fill up in the first day(s) of availability.

Have fun, it's a fantastic show!

I just got off the phone with Disney and they said Mid July... I had to order my Mickeys Christmas Party Tickets...

I agree... the show is awesome.. the first year we did the CLP, we figured we would wait in line and just go in... but since they block out 90% of the theater to those who got the dinner packages.. it's fighting a losing battle waiting in line...

I agree also that the dinner packages are well worth it. The CP has become more and more popular in the past few years. The standby line is no guarantee of getting in or a seat to see the CP and depending on the narrator you may need to get in line 2 hrs in advance where at least with the CP you are guaranteed to get in and have a seat. I remember there was a time you could walk up to most CP and get right in, well that's no more.

the days of walking up and jumping into a seat for the CP are long gone... ADR and the DP have killed that..

We're hoping to get a CP at the refirbed Teppanyaki Room in Japan.

Seriously, do they block out 90% of the theater for the packages? I couldn't get Le Cellier (called at 7, on hold, all booked by 7:30) so I figured we'd just stand in line for the show and then eat afterward. Now I'm wondering if we'll get to see it at all!

Oh Meyla Weyla
I called at 715am and couldn't even get through, tried at 745am and waited on hold for 35 mins before having to give up to leave for work. Tried again after work (short day today thank goodness) around 230pm, got right through and got what I wanted. I had the advantage though of wanting something that wouldn't be popular... a lunch booking at the Garden Grill!
