Candelight Processional 2003 Narrators

It has been reported on Disboards that the CP narrators confirmed for 2003 include: Andy Garcia, Ben Vereen, Rita Moreno, Steven Curtis Chapman, Edward James Olmos, Sandi Patti, Robbie Benson, and Gary Sinise. This is all still rumor, Disney has confirmed none of it, so far.

There is a rumor that Gary Sinise will be doing the Christmas-New Years slot. Sandi Patti's website has her scheduled to be at Epcot from 12/19 through 12/21. Ben Vereen's website reports that he will be at Epcot from 12/1 through 12/3. Hope this info helps with everyone's planning!

At this time there are only verbal agreements with enough guest narrators to fill all but two slots. And only two are returning narrators.

Of course "Who will the narrators be?" was the million dollar question at Friday's rehearsal!:lol:

Ditto. I was probably there the same night as you. It was the first night of the processional last year, and we were told as we picked up our pins and stuff that he wouldn't be narrating. We were bummed, but it was still an awesome processional.

I would like to see Gary Sinise now that he is over at Mission:Space. I wonder if he will ride the ride when he is at Epcot...and I wonder if he will have to wait in line to ride.

Gary Sinise will probally do Christmas-New Years. People really love him.

Wow! That is a great list.

I saw Sandy Patti do it on year during the Christmas rush. She was great, and she sang with the choirs on many things too. She had a solo, but I can't remember which song.

Gary Sinise seems to enjoy doing it. He has come several times.

Cool to see Stephen Curtis Chapman on the list, too. He has a great personality, and really lets his beliefs shine in his songs.

I would love to see any of them...

The CP is one of my favorite things to see durning the holiday season. High quality entertainment. Plus the message is hard to ignore.

We have been going to WDW for several years during December and have never been to the CP. I insisted we go this year and even backed it up by buying the dinner package. I am really looking forward to it no matter who the narrator is!
