How many days do I have before the final payment is due if I have to cancel to get my deposit back?

You have until 45 days prior to your arrival date to cancel.

45 days out you will receive the whole deposit. Between 45 days and 30 days out they are "supposed" to keep half, but most of the time they will still refund the complete deposit.

If it was a room only reservation that you made over the phone you can cancel up to 5 days out with no penalty.
