Make a right turn just past the archway entrance to Agrabah and you will find yourself entering the transposition to the next land.
Bayou Country takes deep into the Louisiana bayou to uncover all of the secrets, magic, mystery, and more that rests within. This land is designed to make you look as if you’re actually venturing through the bayou, complete with lots of waterways, trees, and mossy areas. If you look in some of the waterways you’ll even spot some simple animatronic gators and other creatures around the bayou.
Of the two rides present here, one is in the midst of a huge change. Like its American counterparts, this park’s Splash Mountain closed in 2022 after it was decided to give the attraction a new theme. The Imagineers who focused their attention on Enchanted Kingdom as well as the park’s management and leadership decided they were happy to have a Princess & the Frog ride, but courted leadership to get their own unique version with a completely different story to it.
The resort president said that they wished to continue to give Enchanted Kingdom its own unique identity as a castle park despite its origins as a fairly faithful clone. Knowing that the European audience agreed with this sentiment, Disney leadership approved it. Despite carrying the same name and same external appearance as it’s American counterparts, the ride is completely different and features an entirely different storyline for guests to enjoy.
The rest of the land remains mostly as it was when the park opened, save for it being made smaller in the northern corner to accommodate a new land that was added in the late 90s (The Hundred Acre Wood).

RIDES
01. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
A flume ride that follows Tiana and her alligator pal Louis as they search high and low across the New Orleans bayou to find Louis’ lost prized trumpet so he can entertain the people at the annual Mardi Gras celebration. Along the way, they will receive help from the various critters in the Bayou, but have to be careful to avoid the vengeful spirit of Dr. Facillier who, according to legend, haunts the Bayou.
02. Pirates of the Caribbean
Enchanted Kingdom’s spin on the classic boat ride. Under the cover of darkness, a confiscated pirate ship sneaks out of a New Orleans port with a motley crew of sailors hungry for a life of piracy. Following them are guests in a little boat on the water. Following a raid on a port, the ship ventures out to open sea which is not only the realm of pirates, both living and dead, but also the kingdom of the most ferocious, bloodthirsty beast of the sea. Any poor soul who treads into its kingdom must suffer the consequences. Originally a clone of the Florida version of the ride, this ride closed for extensive refurbishment in early 2000s for a remodel that shook up its story and added some new show scenes.
