That's a great time choice, by the way. You'll love getting into the park before opening, I suspect!

I just got off the phone with WDW.DINE.

For the day and time you wish to book, cost is $53.29 per adult and $34.64 per child. So, with two adults, one child, you are looking at $141.22. This includes taxes and gratuity.

Yeah...90 buck per...hrm...I think not.

Yea that's the price I came up with earlier. I've had a lot of problems with my TA doing this, I'm really trying to be nice about it but its so frustrating.

Seems like it.

I book all my own trips through Disney directly, so I've never had this experience. But, and this is just my opinion, when your TA starts giving you outlandish numbers to scare you away from planning out the trip that is right for you and your family (and your wallets), I'd start to question their motives.

That being said, I am a huge fan of the Dining Plan, and can certainly make a case for it. But, like I said before, it sounds like you have done your research and a solid cost/benefit analysis, and if you can drop another $200 - $250 bucks back into the "fun money" kitty for your trip, I'd think that a wise decision.

I hope things work out for you!

I am so sorry your TA is giving you a bunch of bull! I have been a TA for 20 years, Gives us good TA's a bad name!
sounds like she didn't want to do her research and just gave you a number, which of course was very lazy!!
I would never do that to my clients. I don't work for commission and I get a regular wage, so I try to make each of my clients happy. Hopefully you gave her a piece of your mind:D

When all is said and done i def am! Every time I tell her something we want she comes back with outrageous prices. Our trip is in 7 days so I know it's kind of late for me to cancel with her. I sent her an email last night asking where she got that number from and I haven't heard anything from her. Normally she gets back to me pretty quickly. I really have had a lot of problems and I know I probably won't ever use this company again. I've done everything myself except apply my payment.

Ugh Idk. My TA just emailed me back and said that cinderella's royal table is 90$ per person?? I haven't seen a price like that anywhere.

You have to have reservations for Cinderell'a Table, & they will charge your credit card at the time of reservations, we were there last month & for breakfast for 3-adults & 1-5yrld, it was $192.50 that included the tip. If you have the dining plan, you can use 2 table credits per person for this if you wanted to.

If you leave in 7 days, did your TA already book your dining reservations?

Yea I booked all of them myself. There is only 2 adults and 1 child in my party so it comes out to be 141$ Thanks for the info. I'm aware.

Paying for Dining plan has never been a consideration for me. My son and I don't eat to match their pattern and it's never been even close to break-even.

There are people that swear by it, but not me.

It so depends on what you order. For her DDP with my DS current discount I pay $25, so worth it. Rack rate, not so much. We buy water or pop in bottles so we can carry on rides, so that pop in restaurant QS or DP I don't need. Dinner ADRs I usually have an adult beverage, waste the non alcoholic beverage. I never eat dessert after a TS meal at home, but do because it comes with the meal. 4x dessert really increases the tip, for something we wouldn't order normally. We are not big breakfast eaters so I'd rarely use a TS on breakfast, normally I'll use the snack for a breakfast item and I have all 3 meals covered and just pay out of pocket for snacks if we are hungry. Downside to that CM discount is I had to zip it shut when a few things went very wrong at TS meals, some of those managers of food establishments are very vindictive to fellow CMs if they speak up.

I'd agree, if DDP is being used for TS breakfasts, out of pocket is likely a better idea.
