Seems sort of strange that the repaint went in such stretched out phases like this, but the new color scheme does look rather sophisticated.
As always, gotta spread that budget over as many fiscal quarters as possible.

And I agree, it looks great. Now maybe they can attempt utilizing the building better.

Hey Disney if you can build something like the Canadian Hotel why are all your DVCs looking like Holiday Inns? Guess it was built when Disney was creative
Interesting. I've never seen a Holiday Inn that looks like this

or like this

Every Holiday Inn I've stayed at looks like this

So if you've been to fancier highly themed Holiday Inn hotels, please let me know where because I'd sure love to check them out!!

It looks like there was some back and forth about what colours should be used in the end.

It is a more realistic and detailed paint job now, and more closely resembles Laurier in Ottawa, the hotel it's based on (not Frontenac as Bright Sun Travels said in a recent video).

I think when EPCOT was built they mentioned Frontenac...but yes, it much more closely resembles Laurier... Thank you for pointing that out because I had always been under the assumption it was supposed to be Frontenac. :)

Frontenac is the more famous hotel (the most photographed in the world*), so that's probably why it's brought up more.

There are many of these castle-like RR hotels throughout the country, with Banff Springs in Alberta (which you see in O Canada) likely being the 2nd most well known.

*don't know if that's still the case now, but it was at least true at some point
