Wow, sorry MKT, I had no idea they were both polar bears, I guess since Nunavut used to be part of the NWT. You learn sumthing new everyday! Sorry again mkt.

It would be cheating if I answered them...because of course, I AM CANADIAN...

But - #4 has two answers. What is our other national sport?

I'm stumped on 11-14.

Excellent! That is indeed our national summer sport, with Hockey being our winter national sport.

I'll let castlecake answer 7 and 11-14 when they're ready. For a loonie or twonie, though...I may send you a PM with the answers...

Speaking of Canada, I have been 3 times, twice to the Niagra area, and once to nova scotia. Anyway, a memory just came to me, that, I think it was on Freemont's street (something with an F), it was like the main tourist street in the Niagra Falls area. Anyway, there was this Haunted House there call Alien Encounter. Have any of you been in there, omg, You could have called me Suzy in there I was screaming so loud, I had never been more scared in my life.

I lived in Toronto for a summer studying English and loved the city and Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa, Niagara, etc. What I call "Wonders of the East" :D Then I went back again on vacation a few years later and realized I knew Toronto, but mostly underground since I was mostly in the subway! I remember getting confused so many times at the intersection of Younge and Bloor  :o
Really beautiful places! I´d like to go back! :)

Happy Canada Day! :sohappy:

Here's one more...I'll call it "15." :)

Can someone tell me what the following image is a picture of, and what its significance or history is?

And - Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians! It's after midnight here...

I remember seeing rocks outside of a government building in Charlottetown, P.E.I. (one for each province) that commemorated the signing of the articles of federation(?) there, and thus Canada's independence. The rocks I saw were not stacked, as in RickEff's picture, but were in the yard. Are the rocks I saw the same ones in your picture?

As for question 14, would the CNBC anchor be female?

And Happy Canada Day!
