Can you actually watch Illuminations while dining at the Teppanyaki Dining Room in Japan?
If not, do you have a better chance to watch Illuminations from there, or is it always still very crowded?
Thank you!
I'm not positive of this but I think the answer is No. I remember dining in Japan and not being able to see out of the building at all. It could just be where I was seated that day though...
UPDATE: Teppanyaki Restaurant in Epcot's Japan pavillion will be closed for a major rehab from 3/11/07 through 7/14/07. (Originally reported dates were January 15 - May 25, 2007.)
Prior to renovation you couldn't see out from inside the restaurant, but there was a "lounge" next to the restaurant on the lake side that did have windows and a view of Illuminations. Not sure how that may change after renovations as I don't know what they're doing
the teppenyaki table will be closed for much longer than that unfortunatly. we dined there last february and loved it, and now they wont be open for our honeymoon in august. *boo!* call disney to be sure, but if you are going later, and can get in, have an early dinner/late lunch there, and wander around and get some pasteries in france to enjoy while you wait for the show! :slurp:
