Can DVC points be used in Japan? I've looked at the Adventures brochure, but saw nothing listed for Japan....is that because TDL/DS is a franchise and not owned by WDC?

All of the international Disney vacations are available on points, and some actually include park admission as well as lodging. Check inside your "Dream" book and fold out the flaps for the international Disney destinations.

You can, but a one-week stay STARTS at, like, 354 points, if my mental math is right. This would be for "A Superior room on a Standard floor" according to the fine print.

I have to buy so many danged points to get the room I want for a week at BC anyway, I could do that, unless you're only allowed 3 people per room (as is standard in many Japanese hotels).

On a bright ( or not so bright note for some) I see that resale points have really started coming down in price...you can get WLV points for around $82 each.

It does take a lot of points for international parks. Hong Kong and Paris include tickets, Tokyo does not due to The Oriental Land Company.
