Can you still ride up front in the pilot's area on the monorail?

Looks like it's time to put all those monorail pilots licenses up on Ebay.

I have two of them myself from previous, pre-accident, trips. ;) The idea has crossed my mind before...but they make a nice addition to my meager collection of other items that size like unused Fastpasses.

Personally, I do not seem them allowing it again until the monorails are replaced, if they do at all. This is simply because the existing monorails have next to zero impact protection. I am assuming that this is because the thought of 2 monorails colliding with each other was considered impossible.

Well the monorails are in a need for a refurb and or replacement, this would be a reason for either. Disney could have bombardier produce new captain cabins made from carbon fibre and other materials used in the construction of a f1 car's monocoque.

I believe they still have those and just give them out to the younger kids now while they are waiting. Probably more so at the monorail resorts since there are a lot less people there than at the TTC/MK/Epcot stations.
