And do you think people know you're going there when you're on the flight yourself . My wife and I tend not to wear anything Disney related on the flight over but usually spot a number of people covered in Disney stuff when we get our connecting flight from Chicago/Philadelphia or wherever money has dictated we go via (Newark this year for the first time). I must admit I usually buy the latest 'Unofficial Guide to WDW' and read it to get in the mood but it always makes we smile when I see fellow passengers who are obviously heading for one particular destination :)

It's very obvious if you spot kids with parents taking a flight to Orlando there's only a few places they'd go besides relatives homes...Only one occurence happend finding that the plane I was on was completley booked by Sherwin Williams when they had a huge convention in January of this year...I can say it was very interesting not hearing any kids on a plane..Nice & Quiet..

I'm usually the guy in the cargo shorts and Hawaiian shirt who gets on the plane singing "who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me?" That's when the flight attendants always ask "is this your first trip? So yes I'm easy to spot.

Normally we drive but we flew on our last trip. I was easy to spot, 69 years old, 6'4", 300 lbs and wearing my Mickey ears. Got a lot of attention from the good looking blond flight attendant!! :sohappy:

I'm assuming people can spot me...I have a designated "Epcot Center" departure tshirt I wear on flights there. Plus I walk into the airport saying "I LOVE THE AIRPORT" that could tip people off.

You could also tell when I've just returned when I'm yelling "I hate the f*%#in' airport!"

I was flying to Vegas solo for business and saw a dad with 2 small boys in Mickey t-shirts in the airport news-stand. The kids were whining they wanted some random toys and the dad kept repeating, "absolutely not - I am not buying souveniers before we leave NY". I smiled and said, "it's going to be a long week!". He laughed. I was SO jealous they were heading there and I was not!!

Aside from the giveaways mentioned above, the one I always see occurs just after landing, while the plane is taxiing (taxing? taxi-ing?) on the runway. I always see the family "leader" pull out the blue DME book, reading about where it is they need to go when they disembark.

One time, as the plane took off, a whole group of people raised their hands up like they were on a roller coaster. Cracked us up.

I usually fly out of DIA so its a pretty good chance that the majority of families (et. al.) on the plane heading to Orlando are going to the parks!

I used to fly into MCO alot back in the 90s when I was flying home from college. The one thing that always stood out to me were the gleaming white brand new sneakers people were wearing - i.e. I'm going on vacation, we will be walking a lot, so I bought new tennies for everyone. Every now and then I'd test this theory and strike up a conversation with someone in one of the families and yes, they were ALWAYS going to WDW.

Yes very easily. Almost every time I come back into town I notice a family or a couple with disney shirts on or something. One time the pilot came on and said after landing "we welcome you to the land of magic" and people starting cheering.

We fly to MCO out of a relatively small airport that doesn't have too many flights at the same time, so usually all the bags on line to check in have those glorious luggage tags. It's fun trying to see who is staying were. The worst was when my girlfriend and I went down for a convention at the Gaylord Palms and we felt like we were the only people on the plane NOT heading to Disney.

I can easily spot them. I hear the one kid who screams and cries the whole flight and they usually sit behind me on the plane and then they are on the same ME bus going to the same resort I am going to and they scream the whole time on the bus. This has happened to me twice. But my wife and I also play lets so who goes to ME without kids.
