Can you request a room change after you get there if available?

If you get there and are not very satisfied with your room location, can you request to be moved to a different room on the resort (at the same resort of course) if there are rooms available?

Of course you can switch rooms. I have done that on several occasions. For example if you asked for a non-smoking room but the room stinks of smoke ask (and you will get) another room. I could go on but I think you get the idea.

Yes, as long as room are available, or consider an upgrade - when Disney is currently struggling for guests you should get a pretty good rate.

DVC has started at new thing were it cost members 25$ cash to change rooms (if you touch anything they need to clean it again). If you get to your room and are not satsifed, (smells like smoke, over looking dumspter, H.C shower with no bath tub ect...) tell the frount desk right away, before bell services leaves.


Spend some time talking with the CM at check in and see what the best avalible is.


Guesting paying cash and not DVC tend to be treated a bit better in this matter.
