Can you push the bed against the wall?

We are staying at POR with a room with 2 dbl beds. We've requested building 14, 15 or 18 since I'll be 7 months pregnant traveling with my dh who will have had gastric bypass surgery in June and our ds2. Do the beds move so you can push on against the wall? My ds 2 will probably end up sleeping with me and don't want him to fall out of bed. I've also requested bedrails.....how good do they work? He usually would just sleep between us in a king sized bed, so I'm worried about him falling out if there is just one of us with him. Any other tips with traveling with a 2 year old? TIA for your help! :wave:

I'm not sure where buildings 14, 15, or 18 are, but you could request a room with a trundle bed. They slide out from under one of the beds. He would be low enough to the ground (around 1 foot) that it wouldn't matter if he rolled out and you could have the whole bed to be comfortable.

The problem with that is he probably wouldn't stay on it and I'm sure the rooms aren't childproof for him to just run wild in the night as we're sleeping. I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. He still sleeps in a crib right now and used to be able to sleep in a pack and play but now he will wake up fussing a million times a night, so we just put him in bed with us now. I'd love to have the whole bed to be comfortable, but that's just not going to happen.

I was told buildings 14, 15 and 18 are the closest to the pool and main building.

Bed rails work only if he will stay in bed and not climb out the bottom. The beds don't move so why not request a porta-crib? They are the standard pack n play and worked well for us in the past.

We have traveled with our kids at all ages. I think the post crib-but not quite in a big boy bed stage is the worst for sleeping issues. To solve our problem we got a small blow up bed form Target that is kid sized, with a lowered center (to avoid rolling on the floor) and best of all comes with it own bedding that is all DISNEY themed. It also fits in too a sleeping bag sac with its own pump. )

We have this one and my kids were able to use it till about 4 years old. Also like the head board and that it is machine washable. My kids stayed put in the and didn't roll out. Cheap easy soultion if you can't move the bed and the bed rails wont work.
Also we took our own outlet covers to help child proof the room, my DH also duct taped draws closed after a finger smash.

Thank you so much Kristamouse! (My name is also Krista! haha!) This is the exact type of help I was looking for! Someone else who's been or is in my situation. He uses his crib at home but now if we sleep in a hotel, he won't sleep in his pack and play. He will just fuss and fuss, even in his sleep until we finally would just put him in bed with us. Now we just put him in bed with us from the start so we can get a little more sleep. We are getting a room with 2 beds because I'm pregnant and toss and turn all night. I don't want to keep hubby up with that. We were planning on taking turns having him sleep with each of us. :hammer:

Our crib we have home is a convertable crib, so we plan sometime in the next few months to turn it into a toddler bed since baby #2 will be coming in December :sohappy: and will need to crib.

We were looking at buying a travel bed similar to the one you posted. I love the one you posted much better though! Very cute!

Do you remember how much it was? It says it's out of stock right now. Maybe some place else has one like it.
