Or you can have a family of 5 on your reservation at Beach Club, and they give you a room without the daybed.

I have confirmed that you can ask for bed rails and they will even come and install them for you so no matter what room you end up in, you should be fine.

The one thing I didn't not like about our room with the murphy bed was the lack of storage. I don't like to live out of suitcases on vacation and we did not have enough drawer space even after I asked for extra hangers. It's a snug fit for five if the kids are tweens or teens.

I agree. It makes no sense to redesign the rooms to hold 5, and then take away storage space. Seems pretty lazy on Disney's part.
