I went through a period in my early 20s where it just didn't appeal to me as much as it had previously. I was more interested in seeing other parts of the world (and it's hard to visit WDW and visit other places when your budget is limited). Once I became a parent, though, I had a different perspective--I enjoyed going myself, but also watching my son having fun.
Now, it seems like my son, who is 10, is losing interest, so I'm not sure what the future holds. Whatever happens, I know my husband and me will visit again when my son goes off to college and we'll be able to go while school is in session for once.
So, perhaps a person's interest can wax and wane, but I believe you don't have to outgrow WDW.
