Can someone tell me a good hotel near the Port?

There is a country Inn and suites located near the port that offers breakfast and they offer a shuttle service to take you to the port. I've booked this numerous times for my clients. Maple Leaf tickets has discounted Kennedy Space center tickets.

I've heard, but never confirmed, that you can get free tickets to KSC by simply requesting them from your Congressperson. Contact his/her official office and put in a request. I have no idea if that's true or if there are any stipulations. Good luck!

Radisson at the port also has a shuttle service.

We got 4 passes from our Congressman this past August. You need to call their D.C. office because the local office I called was clueless. No stipulations, I've never even voted for the guy (actually wrote my own name in a couple years against him).
We stayed at he Country Inn & Suites and had a nice room.

We used the Courtyard Marriott Fly, Snooze, Cruise this past September and it was great! The hotel picks you up at the airport and takes you to the hotel (right on the beach). The next morning they take you to the port (pick up times are usually 11am, 12pm and 1pm). After your cruise, they are waiting to take you back to the airport. The room rate includes transfers for 1 person. Each additional person is $45 (round-trip). The hotel is just down the road from lots of dining and attractions including Ron Jons Surf Shop. I will definitely use them for my future cruises.
