Can someone explain the Food & Wine Festival to me please?

Hi everyone,

I have a question. I keep hearing so much about the Food & Wine festival at Epcot but I'm confused. Is this a seperate ticket event like MNSSHP or MVMCP? In other words, do I have to have regular admission to Epcot in order to enjoy the festival or is there some sort of special ticket I can buy to only attend a portion of it. In case I'm not making myself clear, I mean like at MNSSHP you don't need park admission for that day to go to the party, just the party ticket and you can go in at 7 PM (sometimes earlier). Is that how the Food & Wine festival works?

Thanks in advance everyone!

The F&WF is included in your admission to Epcot. They have booths set up all around WD with different countries offering food and wine samplings. However, the food and wine samplings you pay for, usually between $1-$4. The entertainment at the American Garden Theater is free. There are some special dinner's for the festivale that you do pay for because they are either with a famous chef or have some special wine tasting or something, here is link that explains some of these http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/ep/foodwine.htm.

Entrance to the F & W fest is included in your EPCOT admission. Samples of the food & Wines are available at an extra charge, usually 2-5 dollars. There are certain dining events that are additional charges but these are special dining events, not what is usually at EPCOT. Here is a link that has MUCH more information that I do or can type!!!
