Can it be true?

I was on Deb Wills' site and I came across this:

If you are only staying 2 or 3 days at WDW, you can still get unadvertised discount on admission. Buy your first day's ticket at the regular price. Either at the same time, or before the end of the day, show the one-day pass at the ticket window and buy your second day's ticket for $5 off. If you need a third day, you get a $10 discount. Total savings over buying three separate days' admission is $15.90 per adult including tax. Note that with these passes you can only go to one park per day -- you can't "hop" from park to park on a given day. Still, it's over $66 cheaper than buying a 4-day Park Hopper, which is the lowest-priced multi-day pass. It's also over $25 per adult cheaper than the 2 or 3 day Ultimate Park Hopper passes included with Disney resort packages.

I would like to know from CM's or anyone that may know how much truth there is to this. Thanks so much if you can help! :D

I believe it's called a "bounce back" pass. It's Disney's way of getting you to buy another day's admission instead of taking your money elsewhere.

Almost a secret discount

I stumbled across the "bounceback" discount two years ago when I was purchasing a single day/park ticket to match up with my plans and what I had left on a a 5-day park hopper. The CM selling it offered it when she understood why I was buying one single day and other multi-day passes. We talked briefly about how it wasn't in any Internet information I'd seen (even official WDW's site). "They don't advertise it and you can only purchase it at the parks.", she said.

So, yes it exists. You might have to ask rather than wait to be offered. You know how they are trained to specifically answer what you ask rather than volunteer information. However, when a CM better understands what your touring plan is they often find you the cheapest way.

Secret Discount

This is a technique that many of the various theme parks use to try to get people to come back for more than one day. I don't know whether Disney invented it or picked it up from other folks. The first place I heard about it was at Busch Gardens in Tampa, but Sea World and lots of other places do it now.

Yay that is so awesome because we can't buy the FL resident seasonal passes and we're going to go to only EPCOT, MK, and MGM and didn't want to buy the UPH's if we weren't going to go everywhere so this helps a lot. Thanks everyone! Can't wait til Thanksgiving!
