Can I rent DVC points if I'm from Australia???

I'm planning a massive birthday trip to Orlando from little old western australia haha. But i'm looking at the prices....and for someone who is on a beauticians wage, they are out of this world lol. SO! I was looking into DVC points from what other people have mentioned on this forum...but I'm Australian. Does anyone know if I can still apply??

If you're renting points from an individual DVC member, I don't see why not. I'm not planning on renting my points out any time soon, but if I were to rent them out I wouldn't care where the person was renting them came from as long as the check cleared (and as long as you're not al Queda or anything).

But when it comes to those companies that specialize in facilitating deals between DVC members and prospective renters, it's probably better to ask them direct. I once asked a question to David's DVC rentals without even promising them any business, just a general what-if question, and got a response within a few hours. So I'll bet if you were to ask, you'll get a quick response, and hopefully the response you hope to get. BTW, David's operates out of Ontario, so it seems like international monies shouldn't be a hassle, but what do I know?
