Can I get that at a Value Resort?

Our family is talking of moving to another resort this december and my sister-in-law brought up some good questions. First, she was told we have connecting rooms. I don't remember there being conjoining rooms at the All Stars but, I could be wrong. Is there a door connecting rooms? Second, we are traveling with a 4 month old and she wanted to know if we can get a microwave and/or a fridge for the bottles during our stay. Thanks for you help.

Yes to connecting rooms & a fridge. I didn't see anything mentioned about a microwave, but maybe someone else knows the answer. If not a cheap hotpot could be the answer....heat the milk or water & place the bottle in it to warm up.

I do believe there are some connecting rooms at the All-Stars. I think that one of the times we stayed there, our room had a connecting door. You should be able to rent a fridge for a nominal fee. Again, one time our room had a fridge in it (set inside the cabinets where the tv was). I don't know about the microwave, though. Don't really recall seeing anything about the availability of those. If they don't have the microwave, you might consider getting one of those plug-in bottle warmers (if that's why you're needing a microwave for a 4 month old!) We were there last trip with a 6 week old, so we kind of picked up on some of those things. By the way... you should be able to get a pack n' play, too, for the room. You might want to mention the fridge a/o pack 'n' play before getting there... at the same time, you could ask about the microwave!

Have a great trip!

Thanks for your help guys. This is all new for us. We are traveling with a 1 yr old and a 4 month old, it's not gonna be the same. LOL The bottle warmers I can purchase at a Wal-Mart of K-Mart right? That sounds like a good idea. Thanks again.

Since the question has pretty much been answered, I'll add my 2 cents as well by confirming that there are connecting rooms at the AS resorts. We've been there a handful of times and have always gotten connecting rooms. Hope I'm not too late to help :)

No microwaves at WDW because of chances of burning food, popcorn that would set off smoke alarm and/or sprinkler. I know because I asked some time ago.

well I just discovered that joined rooms and conecting rooms are not the same. Joined rooms dont have a door between them just a wall. connecting rooms have a door between them. You can get a microwave and fride for a price. Have fun ill be there in 14 days :sohappy:

we were at the caribbean beach a few weeks ago and got a fridge for $10.75 a day (not cheap) but theres no microwave. what we did was fill a large mug with hot water then put the bottle in there. also the room comes with a coffee maker you could always run it and not put the coffee in it and you will have very hot water.

The All-Star Sports definitely has connecting rooms. In 1997 I brought a group of school kids down for the YES program, and we had connecting rooms. We also had a refrigerator in their room, if I remember correctly.
