I am planning to run the Castaway Cay 5 k on our cruise in October! I thought it started soon after we arrived but have now been reading posts that it doesn't start until 9 or later! I have booked a port adventure for 10am! Help! Am I cutting it too close! Thanks for your help and advice DISers!

Unless you walk it, I think you'll be fine. My 14 yro and I ran/walked it last September. I want to say we got off the ship around 8:45. The run started shortly after 9. Our total time was 35 minutes-something. Can't remember. So even if you start at quarter after 9 and don't run the whole thing (and/or jog as slow as we did) you should be done by 9:50 at the latest. You should have time to make it to your port adventure.
