Can I add park hopper while at WDW?

So, I'm headed down next week, and thus far I do not have a park hopper as in year's past, I've never used it (3 small kids makes it difficult). However, the thought of only going to Epcot once has me a bit unsettled. So, my question is, should we be down there, and discover that we have some extra time and the desire to do more, can we add the park hopper at that point, or is it too late since our vacation is already underway?

thanks

You can add the option to your ticket at any time. Just visit Guest Relations at a park or Downtown Disney. Only takes a couple minutes.

You can upgrade within 14 days of the first use of the tickets. However, I think you pay the entire Hopper upgrade of $60 per ticket no matter when you upgrade.

You can!! But have to upgrade for ALL of the tickets, even if you've already used them.

On our last day my husband and I wanted to go see Wishes on a day we had gone to HS....we had to pay to upgrade ALL of the tickets, not just the one!

I will say, park hopper is 100% worth it! There may be days you spend at one park and then head back to the hotel for some pool time and maybe want to head back to Magic Kingdom for fire works! Or maybe you didn't get to ride a ride you love because of wait time or its down for whatever reason. It is totally worth it for the freedom to come and go as you please! :)

Thanks everyone, awesome answers.

and I agree the park hopper is great. It's just I didn't use it the last 2 trips when the kids were very young, so didn't want to waste the money unless the opportunity presented itself to get value from it this time.

I'm not sure who told you that or why, but that is entirely untrue. Even if you've bought the tickets as part of a package, each individual ticket can be added to separately.

The one time where it *is* true that a change has to be made to all tickets is if you're upgrading *before* you check into the resort. In that instance you're modifying the contents of your package reservation and all options have to be applied to all Guests on the reservation. But after you've checked in, each ticket is it's own separate entity.

Edit: In re-reading your post, it occurred to me that you may have been referring to each day of a multi-day Magic Your Way ticket as "tickets". If that is that case, your terminology isn't accurate. Ignoring a 1-day ticket which has a lower price for Hopper, adding Park Hopper onto a MYW ticket is a flat-rate fee. Whether you're adding it onto a 3-day ticket or a 10-day ticket, it's the same fee. So I kinda get what you're getting at in that they don't pro-rate the Hopper option price based on how many days there are left on your ticket.

Even so, I always tell people that if they're not 100% sure that they'll need the Hopper option to not get it and then add it if and when they need it on the trip.
