I'm trying to help some friends book a trip to WDW in June. They really have their hearts set on staying at Caribbean Beach. They have three kids, ages 8, 12, 14. Can five stay in a room there? When I try to book through disney, they say only four are allowed in a room. Any suggestions? Can I just book a room with four and have them take a sleeping bag for the fifth? Will this work? Anyone done this? :veryconfu

haha...just don't tell em about the fifth! A sleeping bag would work, but perhaps one of those $30 air mattresses you can get at places like Wal-Mart would be a bit more comfortable...you can always ask them to bring more blankets if you like their blankets more than a sleeping bag...I think Dixie...errr...Riverside is the resort that sleeps 5...so...just....stretch the truth or forget about a kid as you check-in

Unless the rooms have been enlarged, you'll have a hard time sleeping 4 at CBR!!! (the last time I stayed, there were only 2 adults and 1 small child, and I felt crowded)

Legally there shouldn't be 5 in the room, but what Disney doesn't know won't hurt you. But you can't get the Ultimate Park Hoppers because they go on your resort ID. And only 4 people will get the resort ID. Only some of the Deluxe and the Bayou rooms in Riverside can accomadate 5.

Disney Beach Club Resort

 Well we have five people going and we are all able to fit in Animal Kingdom, and Beach Club Resort. I know there are many other places, but these two are for sure.! and the kids ages are 13,15, and 16.

i would suggest po riverside.(formerly Dixie Landings) Beautiful property and the riverboats will be running in March which is an added attraction. We have 5 in our family and their ages are 14, 11, & 10. (We always run into that same problem too! Only 4 in a room.) They have a nice theme pool too! They have rooms with trundle beds in the alligator bayou section. I believe most of the deluxe propertys will accomondate 5 but then the price goes up. Otherwise another idea would be to rent 2 rooms at the value resorts!

We checked out some of the deluxe propertys and i felt that po is every bit as nice.

They have a good rate going on now! see URl below...

Hope this helps

CBR is pretty cramped with 2 adults and 2 small children. I can't imagine staying there with 3 teens. The cabins at FW are having specials right now.

Get an ajoining room maybe......

All those kids and 2 adults in one room? That will be like living in a sardine can. Maybe try Coronado Springs...It's beautiful.:king: :king: :king: :king:

I wouldn't take the risk of sneeking someone in, you only need someone from housekeeping to be extra observant and I'm sure you could be thrown out.

I totally understand your frustration as we to have three kids, we've found that it is cheaper to have one large room in a Delixe than two adjoinning rooms in the All Stars, of course it means that the kids are in your room all the time but you can send them on a few kids only activities and the luxury and convience of deluxe is certainly hard to beat.

Thank you everyone for the advice on five to a room. I went to expedia web site and was quoted a rate for three nights at $512 with tax. I may just decide to book two rooms there for that price. I found cheap airfare to get there so am trying to find little ways to cut corners with the room aspect. Has anyone booked with expedia? Are their quotes accurate as far as no hidden extra costs?
Again thanks for the advice, we decided not to "hide" our fifth person!!:D :D
