Can anyone recommend a photographer?

Hi -

On our next trip to WDW we thought it would be neat to hire a photographer for a couple hours to capture some photos of us enjoying the parks. I LOVE photojournalistic b&w photography and want some 'frame-worthy' photos to hang in our house. I'm usually the one with the camera , so I'm never actually IN any of the photos! This time - that will change!

Can any of you recommend a good photographer? Anyone done this before? Does Disney frown upon this at all (considering this isn't a wedding or anything)?

I'm not sure about Disney's thoughts on this but I always enjoyed the photos we took our selfves in the park having fun. Are you looking for group photos? I kow the CM's don't mind taking a photo for you if you want them to.

We have a lot of good photos that we took ourselves but they're usually 'staged,' meaning we're always staring straight into the camera, smiling OR only one of us is in the photo. We want some more candid shots with the castle in the background, walking around, in black and white. We are considering doing the same for our family reunion at Disneyland this Christmas. That way no one is left out of the photo!

I had my high school senior pics taken at Disney last year. I had one of disney's photographers do them, I believe his name was Dean. It was for an hour right when the park opened. I think in that hour he took about 150 pics but narrowed it down to about 55 proofs. Overall the pictures were amazing. The number for Disney Photographic Services is 407-827-5946. Well, I could recommend to you an excellent wedding photographer from Denver. I don't know if it's worth the expense just for a non-wedding occasion like this. Either way, here's his website if anyone is interested in seeing his work.

Ive never done anything like yet (Tho i am in december for a few friends)....

... I do work for a newspaper as a photog. PM me and we'll talk.

Generally, what the deal would be is that I would shoot and burn you a CD and let you do all the post processing/editing/printing from there.

Good Evening, I've sent an email with my information and would be happy to discuss what type of images you would like. I shoot all Digital and can print or
burn images as you prefer, Since Digital RAW Image data is recorded in color I can photoshop any image and convert to B&W or Grayscale. Respond to the email if interested I'm only about 2hrs from WDW
