Hi! I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. My disney dreams were crushed yesterday when I wasn't paying attention and realized a ticket does not also mean "park reservation" gotta love covid... šŸ™ƒ I had kept an eye on tickets but not on reservations. We would have planned for this way ahead of time, but just got the money to go. I lost my mom to cancer this year and magic kingdom with my FiancĆ© was the only thing I wanted for Christmas 😭 So... has anyone seen a fully reserved park become available again? Any tips or tricks? We would go the 24th, or any of the 3 days after Christmas.

I havent seen any change in the policy other than slightly increasing the park numbers since they started the restrictions. Disney is playing strictly by their numbers to try ensuring the safety of all who enter. Theyve been adamant about warning guests to make their park reservations knowing especially over the holiday season that the desire to go would be high. Guests who have park reservations and enter can leave the parks and reenter so just because someone leaves doesnt open up a spot for someone else. I'm sorry you are being locked out under the circumstances... unless someone else can post a different take on this.

Sometimes they reallocate capacity from different groups of tickets if those don’t fill up, but usually done a week or more before the date. I’d suggest making a dining reservation at a Magic Kingdom area resort, enjoy the decorations there and resort hop to still get some of the magic. EPCOT resort area could also work.

I've definitely seen parks unavailable a few days prior to the date I want to go and then open up the day before. I would definitely keep an eye out!
