Campsites at Fort Wilderness

Does anyone know if making a reservation for a campsite at Fort Wilderness would qualify for Magic Band eligibility? Currently, I'm a FL resident passholder and was considering making a 1 night stay at a resort to be able to access the FP+ system on line. I noticed that a campsite is only $50/night. I wouldn't have a problem paying the cost of one night to access the new FP+ system. We have a place to stay locally so I don't actually plan on using the camp site.

Anyone have any information if the campsites count as a resort stay?

They sure do! We stay here more than any other place.

I think a campsite allows up to 8 guests, so if you know any other passholders you might want to get them on the reservation and split the cost.

Actually it's 10 people per campsite, but for some reason the online system only allows 9 guests to be assigned to the reservation.
