Are there ever any special rates for Fort Wilderness Campground to watch out for?

not that i have ever seen. yes for the cabins, no for the campsites

I have heard that sometimes you can get a AAA discount, but I have never been able to find it.

There are very few and seldom available discounts for FW camping. Sometimes the resort discounts include campsites, but more likely are not included. Evidently, FW has only limited AAA discount sites available and it is rumored that Disney is ending it's affiliation with AAA beginning 2015.
