Agreed, I would guess people would have only been concerned about FOLK and that mystery was solved months ago.

This isn't necessarily for Avatar, they could be building something else there.

I think this needed to happen soon. And in the end it will be all worth it. I mean no one has that much attachment to CMM. And besides FOLK there wasn't much in there anyways. And since FOLK is moving, this closure wont hurt the park as it is today. Wonder if they will have a preview center though like in a hut of what is coming to Avatar Land? Kind of like a blue sky exhibit in DCA.

Finally something appears about to happen. Still, with no date yet determined, doesn't exactly sound like its going to be early 2014.

Wonder if the 2017 date will hold or slip further? I'll say this for Disney, this isn't a project they're trying to rush through development.

I think it will probably close around March, that way they can have time to adjust if at all before all the peak crowds come in the summer and easter

I wonder if they will have a kind of Blue Sky area somewhere showing what they are building across the bridge and if things will open as they are finisheed like NFL or if they plan on opening the land all at once when it's finished.
