A Mexican CM pointed out one to her coworker when I was standing right there. In Spanish, but I speak Spanish. So now I sort of know what they look like and can point them out.

There is one not so hidden on the top of Enchanted tales with belle, look at the highest window and you will see a camera peeking out behind the curtains

Either they do a really great job at disguising the cameras or I'm just too oblivious at the parks, but I've never noticed any cameras at WDW.

Many of the visible cameras are used by production crews to monitor parades and stage shows from their remote show control locations.

The rest are general surveillance, with some being live streams for the folks at the Reservation Centers to look at on TVs mounted throughout their building.

Obviously they are there. Friends of the family went a few years back. Their daughter got sick and they ended up extending their stay. So the father went to buy passes for himself and his son while his wife and daughter went in. She accidentally picked him up from the other side of the gate when he was crying because he couldn't have her and put him down on the other side. Within five seconds, security was out there. Thankfully, they understood the error and they got in with their passes, but obviously they do their job at least part of the time.

On the whole property there are not cameras, I am sure the golf cart joyride we took on the backtrails going from FW to WL would have gotten someone out there. In the stores and walkways they hide them as well as they can so the theming is not compromised nor is the system compromised.

One day our family went to Blizzard Beach. My DW doesn't like to swim and picked out a place to read a book in a secluded area. While sitting there she noticed a small gardner snake coming her way and kicked dirt at it to try and send it another way. Out of nowhere came two security people and asked what was wrong. She pointed to the snake, one of them picked it up and they both disappeared. I think the cameras are everywhere.

I have another similar story where they came out of nowhere also.

They really are everywhere. If you stand in a spot and look around carefully, you're bound to find one... Or more. However, Disney's creativity in hiding them usually knows no bounds.

While not a security camera - remember the huge, zooming one atop Horizons? :D

Lol, it looks like they just put it there and didn't care because its so high up.
It is a fact in the security world that the majority of people never look higher than 6 feet. That was taught to me in 1986 by the U.S. Air Force. In todays day and age of smartphones, twitter, texting, etc... it seems that most people don't look up at all.

Besides the security angle, theres lots of articles and chapters in books about inappropriate behavior by couples being caught by CM's who were watching. Like mentioned previously...Never assume you and your significant other are alone on a ride.
You mean to tell me that "changing" is not encouraged in the parks!?!? Dang it! First FP+ and now this... The DW and I are going to have to find a new vacation spot.

I do remember finding one in my room on the Wonder. Put a piece of tape over it. Why is Disney watching people in their rooms on cruise ships?

J/K But there was a news story some years ago about many of the other cruise lines doing this.

At least I didn't get molested!!!!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...server-33-molested-girl-11-ship-elevator.html
