Ok may sound stupid but what do you do with a bulky camera bag on the rides? and what about a wet ride are there lockers around? Do the CM's hold on to it for you... I'm baffled....:shrug::confused: Thanks !!!

One easy thing to do is sit the bag on the floor of the vehicle, and stick your leg through the straps. And on rides where you get really wet (Kali river rapids), there's a part of your raft to store belongings. You can always just ask for a plastic bag from a shop, for extra protection as well.

No, it doesn't. But you usually don't get too too wet. And when you do, it's mainly your upper body. So your bag would be alright near your feet.

Are you stuck on the bag in question? Maybe I'm reading into the OP but you might want to think about a smaller bag? I've learned my lesson about dragging big bags around.

If you do look into another bag, based on your concerns, I'd also suggest you look at Lowepro bags. Any one that has an "AW" at the end of the model number. Those are all weather bags that have storable waterproof covers. I no longer fear water rides or rain (even Florida rain) with one of those.

I HIGHLY recommend this:

http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-Sling...0G/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&qid=1313071539&sr=8-21

I use it for my theme park excursions and even in pouring rain, water rides, extreme heat..my gear is always protected. Pretty much anything short of dunking it in a pool. As for size, its like having a backpack. I have NEVER had an issue getting it on a ride, or in the case of universal, into a locker. (They don't allow bags on most rides, no exceptions).

I carry my camera most days. I don't carry multiple lenses at WDW, just my zoom, so it's not as huge a bag, but I always put it on the floor with my leg through a strap. Typically even on water rides, like Splash, this keeps it below the splash line. Some camera bags have a water resistant cover that zips out and comes over the bag.

I don't really worry that much. I'd stick it in a plastic bag and/or in the protective thing on Kali, but other than that, even if the bag gets splashed, it's unlikely to soak through all of the layers of protective material and soak the camera

I have the Lowepro Flipside 200 which is a little bigger than the slingshot mentioned above. I have taken it on every ride at WDW, normally with a tripod attached, and have never had an issue. The only tight fit is Space Mt. and that's due to my long legs not necessarily the bag.

Obviously the floors of the ride vehicles are pretty dirty so as long as you don't mind the bottom of your bag getting dirty there is no issue!

Mainly, I kept my camera bag at my feet for most rides. The only one I was concerned with was Rock N Rollercoaster because you go upside down, but it was fine when I squished it between my feet. For SplM, I wrapped it in a poncho. We never went on KRR because it was closed.:)
