does anyone have the Mini DV pv-gs9 is it any good? How do you like it?

I don't know about that one, I have a DCR- VX2100. The picture is broadcast quality on MINI-DV, and it's amazing!..

If you put it on DVD with firewire, the picture is amazing!

thanks again but it is probally still way out of my price range Remember I go to college I am looking for one that with everything Extra Battery, camerabag, Etc. it is abotu $500 . I know it wont be that good of a camcorder but that is all I can afferd

I know I am asking a lot but what about the Sony DCR-HC21 I am looking at a bunch of them and then trying to figure out wich one I like best
