Calling Our Insiders- Is This Art for a New Planned Asian Magic Kingdom?

This was the board to get the quickest answer from our insiders since most post here. I found this art. Is there a new Asian Magic Kingdom in the works? And is the artist related? Thanks!

I doubt it, South Korea or India would be the only logical place. There were rumours about a a huge resort and mini park type thing in Dubai as well as Marvel park but those plans were seemingly scrapped years ago.

Yeah,I can see India, but South Korea has been trying for years to get a Disney park or even a pavilion at Epcot. Like your Dubai art! I'm the one who found and leaked it.

Yeah, based on the towers/minarets on the castle, looks like that's a huge complex with much room. A hotel/restaurant, perhaps?

But it's interesting how the main entry goes straight into Fantasyland, Cars Land is upper left corner, Adventureland is upper right corner and Star Wars elements (Jedi Temple and Galactic Senate) are evident in the lower right corner. The layout is beautiful...

I'm not talking about Dubai. I think that's dead. The concept art posted above is not the one I'm referencing.

BTW- My tracking info is telling me someone at Disney is looking at that post about the art I just now found. I'd save the art now if you could... just in case. Could just be a fan- but you never know.

The Dubai art was not commissioned by Disney, nor would I imagine was this.

Therefore both have more in common with fan art rather than actual conceptual Disney design work.

Epcot pavilion huh? Bet they’ve tried really hard...thrown lots of money at it...

With the name Andy Sklar (as in Marty) I wondered if it had more than possibilities of being fan art.

The castle looks very Disneyland paris, i wonder if the art was connected to the euro disney project in some way?

Im sure some of Andy Sklar’s artwork is in the Imagineering coffee table books, if i remember right he also did a small world castle design for what became Hong Kong Disneyland

It’s probably fan art rather than real Disney concept art, but I’d imagine it’s for a Dubai park, given that the castle area looks to have an arabian influence, there’s an indoor pixar land to the bottom left(indoor theme parks or indoor lands seem to be popular in the UAE due to the heat), and it uses Star Wars in the bottom right(they can’t use Marvel in Dubai as there is already an agreement for it to be used at IMG Worlds of Adventure - well, I assume that means only they can use Marvel in the UAE).

Looks like it would be brilliant if it were real: Pixar, Star Wars, Cars lands, as well as Fantasyland as the entrance area and Adventureland in the top right, as well as a hotel built into the castle.
