Hi! Having trouble linking my tickets and tried to call the number given and got “we’re sorry-all circuits are busy” and hangs up on me. Is this happening to anyone else? If so, any ideas as to how to contact them?! Thanks!

This has been happening for awhile now. Even if it does ring through, it will be a 2 hour plus wait and then you won't end up at the dept. you originally called and will have to be transferred again to start all over. I finally got an answer to my email (after 4 weeks) giving me a number for ticketing, but it just says "All circuits are busy" all day long. I am sure if you or I ran a business like this we wouldn't be in business long. I gave up, canceled my reservation online and we are going elsewhere.

Try calling early in the morning. You can also try the chat feature in the app, it usually takes a few hours for them to start the convo but at least you’re not waiting on hold.

You could also PM me or explain here what you’re trying to do and I can try to help you troubleshoot if you’d like

How were you able to cancel online Wendy? all I get is the phone number that gives me the same run around you have been facing

Unfortunately its been a huge problem for a long time and hasnt even begun to get better. Try calling the number at exactly 7:00 am. The phone lines jam up immediately because everyone is trying to get in first thing. Set your watch to the exact time and start dialing so you connect at exactly 7am and not a second later. Its the same kind of plan people had to use for boarding group success. Just being seconds off will put you at a huge disadvantage.

If you think about it, it's pretty amazing in this day and age Disney doesn't even do the basics well.

1. No 800 number to call
2. Can't quote/reserve multiple rooms at one time
3. In most cases (at least my case) can't make payments on a trip online.

Even the lowest of the motels chains have these options.

Many call centers have dropped toll free numbers. Since most (I understand not all) people are using mobile phones only nowadays, it doesn’t make sense to pay for toll free minutes when the caller pays the same for their minutes regardless of the number they dial. Using a toll free number just adds expense for the receiving business and adds no value to ‘most’ of those parties calling in.
To be honest, I don’t recall Disney ever having toll free numbers for reservations or guest relations contact.

I called Disney at exactly 7:00 am (watched the seconds count down) and still had to wait 45 minutes in the loop!!!
Were you using an apple watch or another device that you knew for sure was accurate? Even the finest watches can be off depending on temperature, friction on the parts and other factors. You may have been just off the 7:00 mark. Even hitting properly the connection from where you are and how those calls are being routed into the call center can put you behind someone else.

I called yesterday about 4 pm California time, and was on hold for about an hour and a quarter. Fortunately, I didn't have any other problems so the call went fairly smoothly, and when I finally got to speak to a human she was very helpful.
That said, I dialed the phone knowing I'd be on hold for a long time, so I was able to get the dishes done while I waited, sat with my dogs for a while, watched some tv, so it made the wait a lot easier to handle.
I did keep the operator on the phone for as long as I could, though, and was looking for things to talk about. I told her I was on hold for so long, I wanted to get my time's worth.

Soooo you keeping the operator on the line as long as you could, for things just to add time on the call, made someone elses wait to get their call answered extended. Kind of adds to the problem doesnt it?

Well it doesnt come across as that by how you wrote it. Next time add something that tells us you are joking. And no need to be flippant.
I agree that I shouldn't have been flippant, and I apologize for that. You may not have noticed, but I went back and erased what I believe was the flippant part. This is supposed to be a place of happiness, not anger. While I felt a bit attacked, I was wrong for responding rudely.

Sorry for taking so long to respond to this question. I don't get on this site very often any longer as I don't have much good to say about WDW. :( I cancelled our trip in my MDE site. They issued a refund for the down payment and we are going elsewhere. No offense to the millions who don't mind being taken advantage of...it's just that after many great trips, it's just not that way any longer.

No worries wendysue! I’ve cancelled as well. I finally got through. I wasn’t able to cancel on-line. Like you, my family once enjoyed dinning, magical express, fast pass, housekeeping, extra magic hours, and it was all included for for a fraction of the rates they are asking now. I think the straw that did it for me was this genie+, from what I have read, it’s frustrating, not user friendly, you have to be up and ready at 7am, and be tethered to the phone all day. I already have to do that with my job. Just doesn’t sound fun, all at a premium price.
