Yes. It absolutely is, I just made reservations for it for our upcoming trip. I've never been, but I hear so many good things about it I couldn't pass it up again.

Make sure you go and have enough time to catch wishes from the top of the contemporary. Its really awesome and it gives you a different perspective of the firework show. Also if you go early enough you can get some great pictures of DAK, Epcot, and Orlando off in the distance. The atmosphere and the view alone make this one spectacular place to eat.

If you eat early ask when you leave and they will either give you a card or tell you to bring back your reciept and they will let you back up to watch wishes.

Good tip, we have reservations at 9:20 anyways, but good to know nonetheless.

Get there early so you can catch wishes.....The observatory deck can get a little crowded. So I would say get there and go straight outside to get a good viewing

Everyone should watch Wishes from there at least once! Along with that you get a great meal too. It is not cheap, but what restaurant in Walt Disney World is cheap? Might as well have a view too!

Even if you are seated in the far corner from the MK you can still get a great view of Illuminations that is diffrent than in the park.

And this is the problem. Make sure that atmosphere and view are why you are going, because the food is variable at best (and I base that on at least 3 separate visits). By all means go if you want the experience, but if it's great food at WDW that you are looking for, go elsewhere (V&A's, Citricos, Jiko, just to name a few).

I've been to Disney 10 times... Honeymooned there in '06. Always ask your servers about watching Fireworks... my husband and I have done this with Illuminations as well as Wishes. We are heading back to California Grill for our anniversary in Aug. 2 years!
