2 adults, 4 kids. The only affordable option do us that is left for free dining when we want to go is the Cabins. I need any and all advice on staying here? I know the bus situation isn't the greatest, I just need advice if my family would be comfortable...

Cabins are wonderful. They have a 1 bed, 1 bunk bed and a Murphy bed. A full kitchen, with a huge fridge and sink etc. Nice dining area also. Tv in dining room area and in the bedroom. 1 bathroom but it has 2 sinks. I have a family of 4 and we are quite comfy in the cabins. I love also how you are not right next to your neighbor so you really don't have to worry about being noisy. If your worried about transportation, just request to be near a bus stop. The cabins are quite fun.

I love the cabins. They give you more space than a hotel room and some space away from the hectic parks, they also have a kitchen with a fridge and other appliances so you can keep snacks of all sorts easily available and cook if you desire (or you can a least have cereal with milk in the room). I have never found transportation to be that bad of a problem, you may consider rent a golf cart to get around the property. They also have campfires and activities through out the day if you want a break from the parks. This is actually one of my favorite places to stay.

I think the cabins will be great for you. Either the adults sleep on the Murphy with all the kids in the bedroom, or sleep in the bed with 2 in the bunks and 2 out on the Murphy. Cabins are wonderful. It's a great time.

Kids are ages 15, 6, 3, and an infant under 1.

We will need a pack n play in the room for the baby to sleep.

No way will I rent a golf cart for $60 dollars a DAY! Might as well rent a car for that much...but we don't really want to if we don't have to spend the money...

I just want to make sure it's not too much of a hassle to get around there...for those who have stayed, how have the busses been? How long would it take for u to get to parks or early morning ADRs?

I just worry that staying there will make it that much longer to get around. what is the longest it had taken you to get somewhere?

Wow, sounds almost like our family with the ages! You will take the boat to MK...it's a nice alternative to the bus. You can also take a different boat from the marina to WL and Contemporary. If I remember correctly you can't drive your car around the resort. Just use the inner resort bus to get to the marina or the main bus depot. Remember, this is a large resort.

Excellent choice, allears.net has a bunch of info on the cabins or do a search on YouTube. Bushes are no different there than anywhere else, except you have the boats also. There is also plenty of things to do for kids of all ages, you can always bring or rent bikes

The bus system aren't that bad. The most I have ever waited was maybe 10 minutes, and thats because it was trailing behind a slow golf cart. Its a beautiful resort, but a big one. You can always request to be near a bus stop if you don't want to have to walk very long to a bus. Always give yourself enough time to get somewhere, if your making a reservation then I would give myself an hour to get anywhere.
