I'm not a Flyers fan, actually I despise the Flyers and no one's happier than me that they're now gone. But I find this final to be pretty interesting. This will only be the second time in the last decade that the Cup won't be going to Detroit, Colorado, or New Jersey. And that is something to toast to. Don't be such a bitter Red Wings fan, it's nice to see new teams get the chance.

I don't like the Flyers, but I can't believe this is the Stanley Cup Matchup this year. If things weren't bad enough in the NHL they have the worst Stanley cup possible.

It is really too bad that the series will not be good for TV ratings. TB is a great young team, with a lot of exciting players to watch. Growing up in Metro Detroit, I always want the REd Wings in the series, but that did not happen (which really stinks as I had some tickets lined up if it was to be TB/Detroit)
It would be nice to see both of Bill Davidson's teams will championships this year (he owns the Pistons and Lightning)
Hopefully the CBA issues won't delay hockey too much next year, and also, I hope they get some long-term issues resolved so we don't have this probelm again in 5 years.
