Funny, because I was just watching several movies on services with ads just last night and they were putting ads every like 15-20 minutes. This is the way all services are going.

What services? I have the Ad service for peacock and Paramount and only shows have ads during, movies don't get interrupted. I've only seen the free services like tubi...have that. I haven't had Hulu for probably 5 years or more, maybe later, so that could have changed.

In this particular case I was watching FAST services. I pay for mostly the premium non-ad services. But Hulu was doing it in recent years.

However Netflix on their ad tier they launched recently is showing ads on average every 15-20 minutes, ie about 4 an hour. So yes it'll be possible to get an ad in the middle of a movie.

The Disney+ with commercials feels like a complete ripoff. They put in a lot of commercials every twenty minutes. It feels like over the air broadcasting. Why can't they just put three minutes of commercials at the beginning and leave it alone like other services do.

Because that's not how the ad supported tiers work, lol.

I know right, imagine getting a lower cost service that is supported by ads and it actually having ads.

Maybe you should upgrade to the no ad tier If commercials annoy you so much….I mean they told you were going to get ads up front

Prime is really annoying me with the ads. Amazon is rich enough, they can afford to not have the ads

How many rolls toilet paper have to be ordered off the service to cover the $1.1B for Season 1 and 2 of Rings of Power?

Dis+ will soon be moving to the Netflix status for me. I won't have it all year. Maybe just 3-4 months a year. Watch and catch up on anything I wanted to see than cancel.

With Disney raising the price to $159. and continuing to produce sub-par content I must say GOOD BYE!

It will be interesting to see how many others will cancel as well
