By Bus or By Monorail, that is the question...

Question for thoese who have tried it...

From All Star Movies, is it quicker to take shuttle bus to MK or...
take shuttle Bus to Epcot, then Monorail to MK?

Definitely the bus. Buses to MK drop you right at the front gate. If you take shuttle to Epcot, you would walk from bus drop off to monorail. Board the monorail, travel to TTC and change to Express Monrail to MK.

By far the bus. Going through Epcot would require a bus and 2 monorail rides. The bus will arrive every 10-20 min and will take you right to the gate of the Magic Kingdom.

If your heart is set for a monorail ride, try one of the other loops. Take a ride to Epcot one day or go around the resorts. Don't inconvenience yourself just to ride the monorail. :)

The bus is faster. We just got back & we never had so much success with the bus service. I don't think that we ever waited more than 15 minutes to get picked up. Having to switch monorails takes too much time. However we still make time to ride them just because I enjoy it.:)

I agree with everybody else, unless either of these conditions prevail:

1. You just missed a bus to the MK, there are still a gazillion people ahead of you for the next bus (that does NOT happen too often!), and the EPCOT bus has just arrived

2. You are traveling with someone who feels shortchanged without a lengthy monorail ride to start the day
