If this is indeed accurate, my guess would be one of the Food and Wine vendors.

They would have had access to the structure, and in November they would be pulling down their equipment/booths.

Shipping crates and who knows what else would be around and who would notice just another box/crate.

So far this is my favorite theory. And the BDD dude set himself up to be the fall guy inadvertently.

In any case, I don't think Disney would have used the animatronic as the tech was decades old. But I could see them using it to rebuild a modern version.

I think CC could still work as a stand alone attraction at another park.

Yeah, someone should contact OCSO and see if they can reveal those pictures. If they can, I think that would also lead the the arrest record becoming public info too, cracking this whole case wide open
Aren't mugshots posted on some shady websites after an arrest? Where I'm from, when someone gets arrested, within a few hours their mugshot is all over websites that are dedicated to "outing" people that got arrested. They're usually up until the person that got arrested is either found not guilty, the case is dismissed, the person dies, or the records are sealed/expunged.
Yeah arrest mug shots are made public almost immediately. This sounded more like a search warrant and questioning rather than a true arrest though, would that be correct?

Is it possible that since they were testing Buzzy this past summer that he has been removed for use in another attraction and the theory he has been stolen is only fueled by CMs and others noticing he is not there now?The BDD arrest was bound to happen so the timing is a coincidence? I don’t know - I’m just skeptical that someone could pull off a heist like this.

If it's an attraction that's being demolished in the future and hypothetically someone with Disney was removing an animatronic to have it preserved as a display piece would they even care if they leaked hydraulic fluid?
Would a company about to ban plastic straws and bags be comfortable with squirting a quart or two of hydraulic fluid all over the floor?

If the floor were in a public place yes. I can't see them caring about an abandoned closed off attraction. If they did care they probably would't have left it in there all these years where it could potentially develop a leak at any time and go unmonitored.

Yep and yet they decided to leave this in an abandoned attraction rotting away for 10+ years. Of course this is the same company that has lead based paints in guests areas, so this seems minimal by comparison.
Seems kind of ... is hypocritical the right word?

The lastest on Buzzys Location. He’s either dead or chilling in Costa Rica. Probably both.
