Buying WDW merchandise online?

Question: There is a place(s) online (I believe one used to be advertised on WDWMAGIC.COM) where you could buy stuff that is sold only at the parks (t-shirts, CD’s etc). It was a company in Florida that I recall and they got the merchandise directly from the parks themselves. Does anyone know the name of this website and any websites that sell things you normally would only get at WDW itself? Even any mail order places would be great. Thanks!

P.S. It has been a while since I have been on the forums so I am glad to get back in the mix!

I know of www.mainstreetmegastore.com (although I'm not sure how up-to-date it is).

I also think the Laughing Place store may have WDW stuff as well as Disneyland stuff

Be careful of mainstmegastore though, it's WAY overpriced. I just had someone make me a gift basket (found her on the DIS, she lives in Orlando) of things from the parks for my sister's wedding present (she's getting married in Orlando) and I looked up some of the things she said she would include. When I added up the cost from that site, it was more than she had quoted me for the basket. When I asked her about it, she told me that the items were priced more than double than what they are in the parks.

I'm not sure if you know or not. But you can alway go through mail order. Its offical and the same prices you would pay at the parks.

You might want to call WDW directly...I just checked out the New Epcot DVD at the Main Street Megastore and they want
$39.99 for it. Which is twice as much as WDW Mail Order.

Mainstreet Megastore is a site that just wants the money. They do it because they know that WDW mail order doesn't have a website. Please use WDW mail order.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think Laughing Place is what I was originally thinking of, but I am definitely going to check out all the places mentioned including the direct order. If anyone has more suggestions, keep them coming in! :sohappy:

I am getting all giddy now. I am just going to have to spend, spend, spend! :lol:

On the direct order from WDW, does anyone know if they are pretty good at looking up things by just the name and not a part number etc?

After talking with someone at the Laughing Place (who was extremely helpful), I think I am going to order something from them in the next few days. I will let y'all know how that goes and if it's a good place to purchase WDW merchandise from!

We used wdw mail order when my 4 year painted her *special* shirt from MK. All of the girls in our family got the same tshirt so of course I had to get it replaced. They were able to figure out what I was talking about just by my description over the phone. Replacement arrived in a timely manner and cos wasn't out of the world.

Cool deal Dwarful. Thanks for the info. I guess I figure Disney staff is helpful with every other aspect of Disney World, why not add mail order to that list! :sohappy:
