The dollars were used as cash but were fun for the kids to see the characters on them and use them as real money. It was also a nice gift alternative to giving a gift card. Plus when you have a little extra cash when saving for a Disney trip, buying the Disney dollars would ensure that it would be saved for the trip.

I also like all of the new gift card options but prefer the dollars.
