buying admission tickets at check-in at resort?

I am really angry with my travel agent at the moment. We have had to shorten our trip and when I asked for the changes the price I was quoted does not add up. I have already paid the $200 deposit when I made the first reservations so my question is. If I tell the travel agent to just book the room, can I buy the tickets (and possibly add the dining plan) once I check-in at the resort.

Yes you can, but two things you'll need to know:

Your deposit on the package will be fully refunded and your new deposit will be the cost of one night's stay for the room-only booking. Because the refund can take some time, be prepared for some overlap.

With a room-only booking, you don't get the "Package extras", the mini-golf, sea-raycer, Planet Hollywood certificates or the souvenir luggage tags. You can still use DME if you're flying into MCO.

all those extras? are they for USA residents only.im in the uk and havent seen these bonuses anywhere?

I'm not sure with a travel agent but if you go through Disney, you can book the room, one ticket per person and then add the dining plan up to 5 days before you arrive. If you are waiting for more pay days you can upgrade your ticket to whatever amount of days when you check in. We did this in April!1:lol:
