Would this work if you only stay 5 or 6 nights or do you have to stay the entire time?? I'm trying to plan a last minute trip for March

It does work for 5 or 6 nights! You just have to stay 4 nights + something. The next nights (up to 3) are free. A stay in March also qualifies you for the $200 gift card.

Just keep an eye out for other specials for the same period of time. You may find something that's cheaper for your stay's length if it's less than or more than 7 days.
For example:
7 nights with 3 of them free is 43% off the total bill, one of the best discounts percentage-wise that Disney's ever offered.
6 nights with 2 of them free is 33% off.
5 nights with 1 of them free is only 20% off.
You can often get other discounts that are more than 20% off. (Though as someone pointed out, if it's during the timeframe of the $200 gift card, it still might be worth it to book that way) You also get the extra MYW days beyond the first 4 for free, but that's only a savings of $3 per person per day.

Hi, now that the extended time has started, when will be the last day be to actually book, and when will they announce the next deal. We're going the week before Labour day and hoping to get either this deal or free dining.

You can book the Buy 4 get 3 offer through March 29th and it is good for stays through August 15th.
You never know if or when Disney will announce the next deal. We will definitely let everyone know as soon as we hear though!
