Busy and Festive vs Empty and Quiet

Do you prefer going at peak holiday times when...its more expensive, there's more to do, parks open later, little to no refurbs, there are holiday events and or other events (F&W etc..)

or

Off peak...lower prices, shorter park hours, lots of refurbs, walk on rides and attractions, not as much going on
I would defiantly say that theres benefits to both.
When its busy:
Pros- They might have some extra events or activities or bring in more Disney characters or things like that.
Cons- Because of so many people it will be packed, and you won't be able to ride many rides.
I was talking to a lady last week and she went over Christmas break and said she was able to ride about 5 rides during a day because it was so packed.

When its not busy:
Pros: Not as much excitement and things being put on. But still a fair amount.
Cons: You can ride probably every ride in the park, and maybe multiple times.
I personally prefer to go when its less busy, because your able to be closer to your family and do more with them, and ride more rides and see more shows, and eat alot faster! So that would be my recommendation.
Have fun! its Great!!
Also if any one would like to hear the Disney Frozen Songs with Lyrics for their kids or themselves here they are!! Thanks a bunch This is the link to them http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo07lv5GxXelgYej_jOXJfQ/videos

If you find this mythical empty and quiet period, be sure to let us know. It used to be the week right after Thanksgiving but from what I've read, that is no longer the case. I was told that September is now the empty and quiet period and I bought that as truth. Ha! It should have been emoty, because no rational human being should voluntarily go to an asphalt jungle in 100 degree daily temperatures.......but can you believe it, it was mobbed, mobbed, mobbed, mostly with international guests who travelled in packs and waved flags and chanted.

We still had a good time even though we almost sweated ourselves to death, but it was not empty and quiet at all.

I've been in the parks when the crowd level prediction was less than 1 and I've been over spring break, Easter, and 4th of July...as well as many times in between. As much as I enjoy the low to non-existent lines (in many cases) during the slow times, I do like some of a crowd. It just feels more festive that way ... well, at least it does to me.

I have only gone when it is busy..4th of July , early August, Halloween week, Thanksgiving, Easter. All I know is crowds at WDW. I do know I prefer April weather to August weather...I really don't let the crowds bother me too much. I have noticed that there are alot of ride closures for refurbs Jan-Mar which is a slow time. I wouldn't mind going in early November or December but I don't think that will happen anytime soon unless I leave DGD and DGS behind and how I am I going to explain Nana is at WDW and they are not?
So crowds it is. I prefer crowds because then my favorite travel companions are with me.

Quiet and empty. When I went with my Dad and younger siblings in October of 2012, we almost always walked right on the rides we wanted to do and I feel like it wasn't as bad as Spring Break crowds.
