One Little Spark...
"Editor's note: We previously used some out-of-date FastPass+ information and have changed this post to reflect the updated FastPass+ system. "

I like how they essentially admitted they did 0 research and regurgitated old information for yet another click bait article.

I also like how it says "hacks" are things like getting to the park when it opens, using Fast Pass+, and using Disney Transportation.

These aren't hacks at all. It's like saying, "make sure you get a good breakfast before heading out." or "Stay hydrated." Thanks for the great tips.
Except the article doesn't describe Disney Transit very well at all.

A "tip" (I hate the word "hack") would be "skip the monorail and take the boats"...the lines look terrible, but it is far less crowded once you experience it. Or, "take the ferry to TTC and then offload and take the monorail to your monorail line resort".

Not what they wrote about. This is asinine stuff.

I'd say perhaps 80% isn't bad. For people who've never been there, some of it may be helpful; but for insiders or Disney freaks, not so much. Getting the monorail at The Contemporary obviously makes no sense because it will be very full and it's not an insignificant walk. Yes, boat would probably be better. I also think their use of the term "park" was a bit imprecise, but so be it.

Face it, this is an article meant for beginners, and it's not supposed to be too detailed. It was probably also slapped together by someone who writes about dozens of destinations every year and isn't expected to be an expert. Most general articles written by non-experts will be faulted by the experts who read them. And most articles written by true experts will be so idiosyncratic that beginners won't bother to read them or truly appreciate what they have to offer. Rick Steves is a great guy for telling me about traveling in Europe, but I assume that a native of Prague will say that he really doesn't know much about Prague. Meanwhile, will I really want to read a 300 page book about Prague when I'm only going for a short visit? Probably not. Same thing here. The article wasn't written for Disney Maniacs.
