My favourites:

2. Buy Disney merchandise from Ebay, not from the actual park.

Great, if you don't mind getting some fakes.

4. Don't rent a car.
This way you won't have to deal with finding parking, which can be a struggle.

There are reasons for not having/needing a car, but I don't think I'd describe finding parking as a struggle.

Saving the best for last.....One of the best ways to get around the park is by taking the monorail.

Not sure how that's going to work out for you. :banghead:

Ugh....these things are so annoying. Half shameless plugs for the company, half regurgitated (and poorly interpreted) common knowledge.

I also don't like when things like this promote the use of amenities that aren't meant for your use - i.e. going to the Poly beach to watch Wishes.
Just asking. If I have a $150 dinner at Ohana, it's not cool for me to watch Wishes from the Poly beach? I would think that would be fine.

Not just take the monorail, but board it at the Contemporary,

In order to avoid long lines, it's best to board at the Contemporary Resort (as opposed to the Magic Kingdom).

Not sure how that's going to save time or be enjoyable, trekking to the contemporary every time you want to take the monorail....

Agreed. Not to mention, watching Wishes at Polynesian is NOT the same, at all, as watching it on Main Street. Incidentally, it's really not difficult to get a nice spot without waiting long on Main Street for Wishes.

I just hop on the Monorail from Splash Mountain to Space Mountain all the time. It's a great way to get around "the park."

The Poly beach is open to anyone that is visiting the resort. The beach is not exclusive to Poly guests. This is the problem with the attitude of people that stay at these resorts. They think they are the only ones that deserve it.

The way things are going at Disney, this elitist mentality will eventually take over.

Sadly, i've been told by cast members to go to Ebay to get merchandise because it was sold out :(
I've rented a car, because I didn't want to be bogged down waiting for buses (especially at DAK).
I was so confused about the Monorail (unless they are meaning to catch it to go back to the TTC)...

This list was just odd...

The Poly beach is open to everyone, by the way. I'm struggling to see your logic here. For instance, when I go to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner, I shouldn't be allowed to view the animals because that's a "resort amenity?" Another example is that when I go to the Contemporary, I shouldn't be allowed to board the monorail because I'm not staying at that resort?

Why is this elitist mentality a thing in the first place? The only difference is that the guests at that particular resort are more likely to use that amenity.

"Editor's note: We previously used some out-of-date FastPass+ information and have changed this post to reflect the updated FastPass+ system. "

I like how they essentially admitted they did 0 research and regurgitated old information for yet another click bait article.

I also like how it says "hacks" are things like getting to the park when it opens, using Fast Pass+, and using Disney Transportation.

These aren't hacks at all. It's like saying, "make sure you get a good breakfast before heading out." or "Stay hydrated." Thanks for the great tips.

We always have dinner at Chef Mickey's and always then take the Monorail afterward. I've never had an issue, nor have I ever heard that only resort guests were allowed to board the monorail from the Contemporary.

Right, I'll be sure to book my Fastpass for the Hard Rock Hotel at Disney Florida, cause it's the best place for Rock Concerts...

Getting back to TTC, it can be a godsend.

Other than that, you really save nothing if you are staying onsite.

Of course, the author doesn't understand the resort bus system, so....
