Apparently, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be recieving "Wild Maus", a wild-mouse coaster from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, who are removing the coaster to add a new attraction. It'll be here in 2004 and hopefully under a new name with a lot of theme. www.dailypress.com has more info, in Search just type Wild Maus and you'll find the article.

That is correct.

*Edit to add specs newpaper ran. Seems dead on the what I have heard.

The Wilde Maus is tame enough for the small fry (over 42 inches tall) to ride but wild enough to make teens and adults scream in fright. It simulates the motion of a mouse through a maze with sharp curves and twists. Children 42 inches to 48 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.

Wilde Maus was a great rollercoaster, probably the scariest one IA had ever been on of its type, MUCH better than Primevil Whirl!!! I hope the new VA ride is a coaster, they are all top notch at that park. Their latest edition of a ride, Corkscrew Hill, which is not a coaster, was not very good at all. Heres hoping to a great new ride!!

If anybody wants to see pictures of the old Wild Maus while it was at BG Williamsburs I suggest you visit the Roller Coaster Data Base www.rcdb.com

They have some pretty good pictures there.

Where the Camel Used to be? Great! That's been getting a bit run down over the years. It might have also been good if they replaced the Python, although it's a classic at the park, it's just so rough. Maybe they should put a vertical drop ride on that little plot if they ever decide to get rid of the Python. :D
